Year 5 Teacher

Zest Education is currently seeking a talented and dedicated part time Year 5 Teacher to work in a primary school in the Cannock area.
The role is scheduled to start in March 2024 for at least one term, offering you a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the education of our students.

Responsibilities:
– Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to Year 5 students, ensuring their academic progress and personal development.
– Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate.
– Utilise a range of teaching strategies to cater to the individual needs and abilities of students.
– Collaborate with other educators and parents to promote effective communication and foster a positive learning community.
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their growth and development.

Requirements:
– Hold a valid QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
– Proven experience teaching in Year 5, demonstrating a strong understanding of the curriculum and age-appropriate teaching methods.
– Passionate about education and committed to nurturing students’ love for learning.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
– Well-organised, adaptable, and able to manage time effectively.

This is a 0.6 position, working three days a week (Monday to Wednesday).

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
