Job Description

An ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in starting a career in education/teaching, to experience the classroom properly before committing to a permanent role.

Zest Education are working with a secondary school in Walsall which seeks to appoint a motivated and engaging individual who will join them as an Early Career teacher. The school is a large secondary which caters for a broad range of pupils and has a growing reputation within the surrounding areas. The role is full time starting in September 2022.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

The school is looking to support an early career teacher through their induction year.

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
