Early Careers Teacher

Zest Education are looking for keen and enthusiastic ECTs to join our team of fantastic staff to start various available positions starting September 2022.

Zest Education work with several Primary schools in the Staffordshire area and can provide you with a helping hand to start your teaching career. We have schools in Lichfield, Burton on Trent, Tamworth, Cannock, Stafford and Telford.

We can provide you with valuable help and advice, as well as the local knowledge of schools in your area, allowing you to try each primary school on a flexible basis or secure a long term role of your choice.

The successful applicant will have:

• A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS
• A strong passion for teaching and excellent subject knowledge across EYFS/KS1 or KS2
• A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
• The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management • Good time management and ICT skills

Excellent rates of pay are available starting from £100 per day. Pay to scale is available after a qualifying period of 12 weeks. If you are a Early careers teacher looking for your first teaching opportunity, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
