A Year 5 teacher carries a range of key responsibilities that are vital to the academic and social development of their students. Their main duty is to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of their class and ensuring that the curriculum objectives are met. They must also create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages progression among students. In addition, Year 5 teachers are responsible for assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support the development of their students.

The successful candidate will be required to have:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience teaching in Year 5 or relevant Key Stage 2 experience
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons
