Year 6 Class Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is excited to partner with a delightful school in Halesowen in their search for a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This full-time position will run until the end of the academic year, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on students’ learning and development.

As the Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. You will create a stimulating learning environment, implement effective teaching strategies, and assess student progress to provide targeted support where needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with other members of staff and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.

**Requirements:**
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in Year 6
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
– Ability to differentiate teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– You will be required to have an enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to obtain one.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
