“I have been a part of Zest Education for over 6 months now and I have enjoyed every second of it. Zest Education was recommended to me by a friend who had registered with them previously.
I was interested in becoming a teacher during the pandemic and I wanted to get some experience in schools but didn’t know how to get started. My first initial call was with Mike to discuss the first stages of my registration. We discussed why I wanted to become a Cover Supervisor and my relevant experience. Before this call, I didn’t know whether you needed a degree or experience related to teaching to become a cover supervisor.
The next stage was the initial registration which happened the next day and was carried out over a video call. This involved an interview with Mike where we discussed how I would fit into the role of a cover supervisor, my experience and my qualifications. Within a week of the interview, I was in a school working. The whole process from the first call right up until the first day at school was so smooth and I knew throughout I could contact anyone at the agency and they would help me with any questions or concerns.
The experience I have gained has been incredible in just a small period of time. I know the next step for me is to train to become a teacher but that would not be possible without the skills and experience gained during the last 6 months. The agency has strong relationships with the schools they work with and you know when you walk in the door of a school who and where you need to meet. I could not recommend Zest Education enough to anyone who is considering becoming a cover supervisor or someone who is already one. The support offered by the agency on the first day right up until now has been fantastic and have helped me every step of the way”
