Zest Education are currently seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a vibrant two form entry primary school in Cannock, working within year 5. This role is temporary, running until the end of the summer term with the potential for extension.
On the outskirts of Cannock, the school prides itself on providing a secure and nurturing environment for children to excel in their learning journey. Easily accessible by both car and public transport, the school offers a supportive and inclusive community for both staff and students.
*Key Responsibilities*
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons for year 5 students
– Adapt activities to suit the diverse needs of learners
– Further professional development through continuous learning opportunities
– Uphold safeguarding protocols to ensure a safe learning environment for all
– Create a nurturing and inclusive space for children to thrive
*Ideal Candidate Requirements*
– Drive to progress and develop within the teaching profession
– Sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Highly organized and honest in all professional interactions

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
