School Administrator

Job Description

Zest Education have an exciting opportunity for a school administrator to work in a Primary School in Mere Green from April 2025.

As a school administrator your responsibilities may include:

1. Managing the day-to-day operations of the school, including overseeing staff and student activities.
2. Implementing school policies and procedures as directed by the school board or governing body.
3. Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping.
4. Communicating with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth running of the school.
5. Supporting the school principal in various duties and initiatives aimed at improving the educational experience for students.
6. Collaborating with other administrators and staff members to address any issues or concerns that may arise.

Your working hours are typically from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, but may vary depending on the needs of the school or any special events or meetings that may be scheduled outside of regular hours. This is a full-time position that requires dedication, organization, and strong leadership skills to effectively manage the responsibilities of a secondary school administrator.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
