Teaching Assistant KS1 – Fulltime

Job Description

Are you passionate about working with young learners and supporting their educational journey?

Zest education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable primary school in Washwood Heath.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the class teacher, supporting individual students, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons for KS1 students.
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance.
– Assist in the preparation of educational materials and resources.
– Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
– Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:
– Relevant experience working with young children in an educational setting.
– A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
