Are you passionate about creating a clean and safe environment for students to thrive in? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to join our outstanding team at an outstanding school in Lichfield. This is a rare opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic educational setting.
As a School Cleaner, you will be working as part of a team of 4 dedicated individuals, ensuring that the school premises are kept in pristine condition for the benefit of students, staff, and visitors. We offer flexible shifts to accommodate your schedule.
Job Duties:
1. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
2. Dusting and polishing surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
3. Emptying and sanitising bins.
4. Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms.
5. Refilling supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
6. Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
7. Assisting with special cleaning projects as needed.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children.
All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you, the cost of the DBS is £61.30) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is recent and relevant experience, ideally school-based within the last 5 years.
