Zest Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a team in an outer city school in Lichfield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the class teacher, assisting with children’s learning, handling administrative tasks, and supporting phonics learning. This role is set to start in March, for the remainder of the half term, with the possibility to extend.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
– Assist students in their learning, providing one-on-one support when needed
– Help with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the classroom
– Support phonics learning and literacy development among KS1 students
Requirements:
– Level 3 qualification (not required but preferred)
– Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the school
– Dedication to supporting the education and wellbeing of students
– Recent experience working as a teaching assistant in a school setting

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
