Are you passionate about shaping young minds and supporting the educational development of Key Stage 2 students? A Primary School in Bartley Green is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team after the Easter holidays in April 2025.
Position: KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Bartley Green
Start Date: After Easter holidays in April 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons, supporting students’ learning needs, and creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting classroom activities and assisting with the preparation of learning materials
– Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help
– Promoting a positive learning environment and assisting with behaviour management
– Collaborating with teachers to monitor student progress and assess learning outcomes
Requirements:
– Relevant experience working with Key Stage 2 students
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference in young lives
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
