Are you a passionate and innovative ICT teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? Zest Education is currently partnering with a highly regarded school in the Telford and Shropshire area to find an exceptional ICT teacher to join their dynamic team. This full-time position will commence September 2024 for one academic term.
As a large secondary school, our partner institution caters to a diverse group of students and has earned a reputation for excellence within the local community. Conveniently accessible by public transport and offering onsite parking, the school provides a supportive environment for both staff and students.
If you have a creative flair and are eager to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners, this opportunity is perfect for you. We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual who can effectively engage students with different learning needs. A strong command of ICT up to Key Stage 4 is essential, and familiarity with Key Stage 5 content would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
– A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification, resulting in QTS or QTLS accreditation
– A deep passion for Computer Science, coupled with excellent subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 and 4
– A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-oriented environment
– The ability to plan, assess, and deliver high-quality lessons (planning and assessment duties may vary depending on the length of the placement)
– Strong classroom management skills, ensuring a conducive learning environment
– A positive and innovative teaching approach, motivating students to achieve their full potential

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
