P.E Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is seeking a dynamic and dedicated PE teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Warwick. This full-time position will commence in February 2025 and run for the remainder of the academic year.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, creative, and committed to building strong relationships with students. The school prides itself on maintaining high standards and supporting each student’s journey towards becoming promising young adults. Located in a popular area, the school is easily accessible by private or public transport.

Key Responsibilities:
– Delivering engaging and inspiring PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
– Building positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development
– Participating in extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement and foster connections
– Maintaining classroom discipline and managing student behavior effectively
– Collaborating with the wider department to contribute to the school’s overall success

Requirements:
– PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification leading to QTS or QTLS
– A deep passion for PE and a comprehensive understanding of the subject
– Ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students
– Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teaching
– Previous experience working in a similar role is desirable
