Art & Design Teacher

Job Description

Join Zest Education as an Art and Design Teacher at a secondary school in Nuneaton. We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to inspire students through engaging art lessons. If you have a passion for developing young artists and designers, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and deliver exciting Art and Design lessons for KS3 to KS5 students
– Provide guidance and support during practical sessions
– Assess student work and offer constructive feedback
– Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum
– Participate in school events and meetings as required

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art and Design or equivalent
– Prior experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary school level
– Proficiency in the Art and Design curriculum with knowledge of Photography as a bonus
– Strong communication and organizational abilities
– Ability to create innovative and engaging lesson plans
– Commitment to student development and well-being

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
