Zest Education is seeking a talented Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding primary school in Tamworth on a part-time basis. This exciting opportunity is available from after Easter until the end of the school year.
At this exceptional school, their aim is to provide unwavering support to all students and staff, ensuring they have the best opportunities to thrive and succeed.
Responsibilities:
– Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
– Providing support to pupils in their learning journey
– Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
– Working with students both 1:1 and in small groups
– Maintaining high standards of behaviour and discipline
Requirements:
– Ideally, hold a Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance
– Previous experience working in a primary school setting is highly desirable
– Possess or be willing to obtain a valid DBS check

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
