Zest Education is looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to join the year 2 team in Burton. Starting in May, until the end of the academic year. This school is committed to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically and personally.
Responsibilities:
– Support the class teacher in delivering lessons
– Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils to enhance their learning
– Maintain high standards of behaviour in the classroom
– Keep the learning environment organized and conducive to learning
We are looking for an ideal candidate who:
– Holds a Level 3 qualification (preferred)
– Has experience working in primary schools
– Demonstrates an understanding of the national curriculum
– Understands safeguarding procedures
– Is organized, flexible, and proactive

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
