Job Description

Zest Education is seeking an inspiring and dedicated early years professional to join a brilliant school in Burton. The position is available from May until the end of the school year.

At this forward-thinking school, they are committed to enriching the lives of our pupils through engaging experiences and innovative learning activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading learning sessions both inside and outside the classroom, creating enriching activities, supporting children through play-based learning, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to make assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead engaging and informative learning sessions for early years pupils
– Create and implement enriching learning activities
– Support children’s learning through play
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to assess pupil progress

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Previous teaching experience within the early years setting
– Knowledge of the statutory framework for early years education
– Understanding of safeguarding procedures and best practices
– Strong organizational and communication skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
