Music Teacher

Job Description

Zest education are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced music teacher. This would be within a lovely secondary setting within the middle of Burton-Upon-Trent. The high-school has been rated an ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and welcomes all staff and students.

The position is set to start in January 2026 and is a temporary position with a potential to become permanent. This will last for 5months however can extend if the employer choses. This is a full-time position and will be within the working hours of 8.30am – 3.30pm. This positions include working with children with different ability ranges therefore all applicants would need be able to adapt their teaching style to this. The ideal candidate will need to be familiar within the musical environment and have experience working within children from the ages off 11-18years.

Key responsibilities include teaching children about music, creating lesson plans and working  on a 1:1 with children who potentially need some additional support.
