Zest Education is currently recruiting for a Cleaner to start as soon as possible for a fantastic Primary school in Solihull. The role involves completing day-to-day cleaning duties within the school premises.
This is a temporary position with flexible working hours, offering free parking on site. The successful candidate will be part of a team of 5 dedicated cleaners.
DUTIES-
1. Sweeping and mopping floors
2. Vacuuming carpets and rugs
3. Emptying trash bins
4. Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms
5. Dusting and wiping down surfaces
6. Refilling soap and paper towel dispensers
7. Cleaning windows and mirrors
8. Wiping down and sanitizing desks and other furniture
9. Cleaning and sanitizing cafeteria areas
10. Restocking cleaning supplies
11. Reporting any maintenance issues or damage
12. Ensuring a safe and clean environment for students and staff
Experience-
1. Previous cleaning experience is essential
3. Knowledge of cleaning practices, chemicals, and equipment.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you, the cost of the DBS is £61.30) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is recent and relevant experience, ideally school-based within the last 5 years.
