Zest Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a small, welcoming primary school in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a quaint, community-focused school that prides itself on its nurturing environment and supportive team.
Working hours: 8:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Easily accessible via excellent public transport links
Role: Supporting a KS1 class
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in supporting pupils’ learning and well-being. This role will involve:
Small group work and 1:1 support, focusing on individual learning needs
Daily administrative tasks to assist with classroom organisation
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Encouraging and supporting children with SEN, ensuring they feel included and valued
You’re passionate about helping children succeed, especially those with special educational needs (SEN)
You thrive in a close-knit, friendly school environment
You’re proactive, patient, and love working as part of a team
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn is key!

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
