History Teacher

Job Description

As a History Teacher at our inclusive school, you will have the chance to engage students with a rich history curriculum that values diversity and meaningful learning experiences. Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learners
– Assess student work and track progress
– Stay updated on curriculum advancements and innovative teaching methods in History
– Demonstrate effective behavior management and build positive relationships with students and colleagues

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History (ECT’s welcomed)
– Strong subject knowledge of History in Key Stages 3 and 4
– Excellent behavior and classroom management skills
– Positive school reference from your most recent employer/placement

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
