Zest Education is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a vibrant primary school in Loughborough with an immediate start. This is a full-time position, running from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on a temp-to-perm contract with competitive pay based on experience. The successful candidate will provide essential classroom support, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment for pupils. There is potential for this role to become permanent following a successful initial period.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils as directed by the class teacher
Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources
Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, inclusive environment
Support children with varying educational needs, including SEN where required
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to school life
Previous experience working in a UK school setting (as a TA or similar role)
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills
A proactive and professional attitude
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
A friendly and supportive school environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
