Cover Supervisor

Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm
Weekly pay
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our secondary school in Burton on Trent. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students in the absence of their regular teachers, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise students in various classrooms during teacher absences
– Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students stay on task
– Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and support students with their work
– Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with young people is desirable
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
– Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
