Zest Education is working with a welcoming special educational needs (SEN) school in North West London, who is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately after the May half-term. We will also consider people who are available to start in September 2025. This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.
The school caters to students aged 7 to 16 with a range of needs, primarily SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Both primary and secondary classes are available, and you’ll be placed in a group that aligns with your experience and preferences.
Full-time role starting after May half-term or September 2025
Working with pupils aged 7–16 with SEMH and ASD needs
Pay: £90–£96 per day (PAYE) during the trial period
Permanent contract available with a competitive salary
Experience supporting students in mainstream or SEN school settings
A proactive, friendly, and reliable individual who uses their initiative
Someone who is a positive role model and enjoys getting involved in the wider school community
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
