Teaching Assistant (SEMH/ASD) – Primary and/OR Secondary

  • Full Time (Hours 8.30am to 4pm) 
  • Immediate Start (After May Half-Term or September 2025)

Zest Education is working with a welcoming special educational needs (SEN) school in North West London, who is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately after the May half-term. We will also consider people who are available to start in September 2025. This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial period.

The school caters to students aged 7 to 16 with a range of needs, primarily SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Both primary and secondary classes are available, and you’ll be placed in a group that aligns with your experience and preferences.

Key Details:

  • Full-time role starting after May half-term or September 2025

  • Working with pupils aged 7–16 with SEMH and ASD needs

  • Pay: £90–£96 per day (PAYE) during the trial period

  • Permanent contract available with a competitive salary
