Zest Education is excited to be working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Loughborough that is looking to appoint a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant. This role begins immediately and runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am–3:00pm, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent in September.
Supporting the class teacher in creating a fun, interactive, and engaging learning environment
Helping children settle into school routines and develop key early learning skills
Working one-to-one or in small groups to boost learning and confidence
Encouraging positive behaviour, social development, and emotional wellbeing
Assisting with daily routines, from play-based learning to snack time and story sessions
Experience in an EYFS setting (nursery or school-based) is highly desirable
A warm, approachable personality and genuine passion for early years education
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification preferred
Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and staff
A current DBS on the Update Service, or willing to obtain one through Zest Education

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
