English Teacher

Zest Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a “Good” Ofsted-rated secondary school in Stratford-Upon-Avon. This exciting opportunity involves teaching KS3/KS4 students starting immediately and running for the remainder of the academic year. We welcome both part-time and full-time applicants to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
– Design and deliver engaging and effective English lessons for KS3/KS4 students
– Foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment within the English Department
– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to student development
– Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to engage students with diverse learning needs
– Implement effective classroom and behavior management strategies

Requirements:
– PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification leading to QTS or QTLS
– Strong subject knowledge in English for KS4
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
– Proficiency in lesson planning, marking, and delivery (planning and marking only required for short/long-term placements)
– Demonstrated classroom and behavior management skills

Qualifications:
