Job Description

Are you a dynamic and passionate educator looking to make a difference in the lives of young students? Zest Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a “Good” Ofsted-rated secondary school in Stratford-Upon-Avon. This exciting opportunity involves teaching KS3/KS4 students starting immediately and running for the remainder of the academic year. We welcome both part-time and full-time applicants to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
– Design and deliver engaging and effective English lessons for KS3/KS4 students
– Foster a supportive and stimulating learning environment within the English Department
– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to student development
– Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to engage students with diverse learning needs
– Implement effective classroom and behavior management strategies

Requirements:
– PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification leading to QTS or QTLS
– Strong subject knowledge in English for KS4
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
– Proficiency in lesson planning, marking, and delivery (planning and marking only required for short/long-term placements)
– Demonstrated classroom and behavior management skills

Qualifications:
Applications are welcome from both Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) / Early Career Teachers (ECT) and experienced educators. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
