Maths Teacher
Secondary School in Wolverhampton
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join our secondary school in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in mathematics to secondary school students
– Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
– Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to support academic progress
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
– Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences as needed
Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) in mathematics
– Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level
– Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
– Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
