Nursery Practitioner Level 3
Zest Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and nurturing L3 Nursery Practitioners to join a welcoming early years setting within nursery schools in Stafford. The role is due to begin in September 2025 and will run for a minimum of one term, with the potential to continue for the rest of the academic year.
The school has been rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted and is known for its caring, inclusive ethos and its commitment to delivering high-quality early years education. The nursery follows a child-centred approach, encouraging curiosity, exploration and creativity through a well-structured and engaging curriculum. Outdoor learning and play-based activities are a key part of the daily routine.
To be successful in this role you must:
– Bring a kind and nurturing approach to working with young children
– Communicate clearly and confidently with both children and adults
– Show enthusiasm for learning and a proactive, can-do attitude
– Be flexible, imaginative, and responsive in the way you support each child’s needs
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will work closely with the nursery team to support the developmental needs of young children, helping to create a safe, stimulating and supportive environment. Your role will involve engaging children in meaningful activities, supporting early language and social skills, and contributing to observations and planning.
The school is located in a central part of Stoke-on-Trent with excellent transport links and free staff parking available on site.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
