Zest Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Leicester to recruit a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT (Early Career Teacher) looking to make a real difference in a supportive school environment.
As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Assess pupil progress and adapt your teaching to support all abilities
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Work collaboratively with the wider school team to contribute to a positive learning culture
To be considered for this position, you must:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have completed a PGCE
Have experience teaching in a UK primary school (placement experience also considered)
Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Be passionate about delivering high-quality education and helping pupils reach their potential

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
