Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education and looking to make a real difference in the classroom? Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a number of well-regarded primary schools across Leicester who are seeking Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September 2025.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide classroom support, help manage behaviour, and offer one-to-one or small group support to students who need it most. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education, particularly for those considering a future in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with their learning across a range of subjects

  • Assisting the class teacher with preparation and classroom management

  • Providing targeted support to students with additional needs

  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Helping to maintain student engagement and behaviour

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people (in any capacity)

  • A patient, flexible and proactive attitude

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A genuine passion for helping students succeed

  • A relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
