Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a number of well-regarded primary schools across Leicester who are seeking Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September 2025.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide classroom support, help manage behaviour, and offer one-to-one or small group support to students who need it most. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education, particularly for those considering a future in teaching.
Supporting pupils with their learning across a range of subjects
Assisting the class teacher with preparation and classroom management
Providing targeted support to students with additional needs
Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
Helping to maintain student engagement and behaviour
Experience working with children or young people (in any capacity)
A patient, flexible and proactive attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for helping students succeed
A relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
