Start Date: September 2025
Location: Swadlincote, Derbyshire
Position Type: Full-time (Long-term or Permanent)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Zest Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Swadlincote to recruit a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. You will be part of a supportive department with access to excellent resources and a clear focus on raising attainment.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
  • Have a strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
  • Be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards and supporting pupil progress
  • Be an effective communicator and a proactive team player
