Job Description

Zest Education is working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Stafford to find a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a supportive, well-run school that genuinely values its staff and puts pupil wellbeing first.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Teaching a lovely Year 1 or Year 2 class (depending on your preference and strengths)

  • Creating fun, engaging lessons that bring the curriculum to life

  • Supporting children of all abilities to feel confident and make progress

  • Working closely with a caring team of teachers and support staff

  • Being part of wider school life – assemblies, events, trips, and more

 

What They’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (ECTs are more than welcome to apply!)

  • Someone who brings positivity, energy and a love for teaching

  • Strong classroom management and great communication skills

  • A team player who’s ready to get involved and make a difference

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
