Zest Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a thriving primary school in Stafford, who are seeking a dedicated and passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, your core role will be to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating learning environment and ensuring that all pupils make strong progress.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
Using effective assessment strategies to monitor and track pupil progress
Managing behaviour in a positive and consistent manner
Differentiating work to cater for a range of abilities and learning styles
Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children
Participating in school activities, staff meetings, and INSET days
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Has recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2
Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and a nurturing approach
Is reflective, flexible, and willing to contribute to the wider school community
Communicates effectively with both children and adults
Has a passion for helping children to thrive and achieve their full potential
A dedicated consultant who understands your individual needs
Access to a wide network of fantastic schools across Staffordshire
Ongoing CPD and career progression support
Support with interviews, lesson planning, and trial days

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
