Zest Education is working closely with a welcoming primary school in Loughborough to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to start in September. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone looking to support children’s learning across a range of abilities and year groups, including those with additional needs.
The Role:
Support teaching and learning across the classroom, including 1:1 and small group work
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, preparation, and classroom organisation
Work closely with pupils who may require additional support, including those with SEN
Promote positive behaviour and encourage engagement in learning
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Commitment to safeguarding and supporting children’s wellbeing
Full-time availability from September

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
