Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child’s life? Do you have the dedication, patience, and experience to provide personalized support in a primary school setting? Zest Education is currently recruiting for a committed and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Alum Rock.
🌱 Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a specific pupil, tailored to their individual learning needs
👩🏫 Assist with classroom activities and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
🤝 Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement effective, personalized learning strategies
📝 Track student progress and share insights with teachers and parents to support development
💬 Build a trusting relationship with the student, encouraging confidence, independence, and engagement
✅ Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with 1:1 or SEN support
📚 Good understanding of the national curriculum and adaptive learning approaches
🗣 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
💡 Ability to adapt and think on your feet to meet varying student needs
💖 A nurturing, patient, and positive approach to supporting young learners
🎓 Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in a relevant field

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
