Job Description

Zest Education is currently working with a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2025.  About the Role:

You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils

  • Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential

  • Differentiate content and support learners of all abilities, including those with SEND or EAL

  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress

  • Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate with your department

  • Maintain a positive classroom environment and high standards of behaviour

Ideal Candidate:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
✅ Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach across KS3 and KS4
✅ Experience or confidence working in a secondary school setting
✅ Effective classroom management and clear communication skills
✅ Passionate about teaching and committed to student progress
✅ All subject specialisms welcome – Maths, English, Science, Humanities, PE, and MFL are particularly in demand

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
