Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Codsall
Location: Codsall
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, initially for one term with potential to extend for the full academic year
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Zest Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Codsall. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting young people and making a real impact on their educational journey.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teaching staff in the delivery of high-quality learning experiences across various subjects.
  • Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and provide emotional and academic support to students with additional needs.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

 

About You:

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable but not essential).
  • Are patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
  • Have a genuine interest in education and supporting student progress.

This position is initially for one term, September – December, with a strong possibility of extension through the academic year, based on performance and school need.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
