Job Description

Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a successful and forward-thinking secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher for a September 2025 start.

The Role:

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates. You will join a supportive and high-achieving department that consistently delivers strong results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Use data to assess, track, and report on student progress

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Differentiate lessons to cater to a range of abilities, including SEND and EAL students

  • Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and CPD

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Has experience teaching maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 essential)

  • Is confident with classroom and behaviour management

  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality education

  • Is a strong communicator, able to engage and inspire learners

  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
