Zest Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach to work within a vibrant secondary school in Dudley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for sport and a desire to positively impact the lives of young people through physical education and active engagement.

 The Role:

You will be working with students aged 11–16, delivering PE lessons, supporting extra-curricular clubs, and promoting healthy lifestyles across the school. The ideal candidate will be confident managing groups of pupils and able to deliver structured activities across a range of sports and physical activities.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging PE sessions in line with the national curriculum

• Support teaching staff in lessons and manage groups independently when needed

• Encourage participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical fitness

• Assist with after-school clubs, sports fixtures, and enrichment opportunities

• Act as a role model, fostering discipline, respect, and sportsmanship

 Requirements:

• A sports-related degree or relevant coaching qualifications (Level 2 or above preferred)

• Previous experience coaching young people in a school or club setting

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• A proactive and positive approach to working with young learners

• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through Zest Education)
