Zest Education is working closely with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Swadlincote to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to inspiring students and raising attainment through engaging and high-quality English lessons.

About the Role:

  • Full teaching timetable covering KS3 and KS4 English
  • Supportive department with a strong focus on collaboration and CPD
  • Planning, marking and assessment responsibilities included
  • Potential for permanent placement for the right candidate

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English literature and language
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities
  • A proactive and professional approach to classroom management and behaviour
