Contract Type: Full or Part Time

Duration: One Term (with potential for extension)
Pay: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience

Zest Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Cannock, from September. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and will initially run for the duration of the first term, with a strong possibility of extension.

The Role:

As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons

  • Assisting pupils across a range of abilities, including those with additional needs

  • Promoting positive behaviour and a love for learning

  • Collaborating with colleagues to create a stimulating classroom environment

  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, ensuring high standards are met

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching in a primary school setting

  • A nurturing, patient, and positive approach to teaching

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils

  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the school
