Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? Do you enjoy supporting young learners in reaching their full potential? Zest education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our warm and welcoming primary school in Shirley from September 2025.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils across a range of ages and abilities. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting individual and small group learning activities
Assisting with classroom management and organisation
Helping to prepare resources and learning materials
Contributing to the delivery of a stimulating and nurturing learning environment
Supporting children with special educational needs or English as an additional language where necessary
Is caring, patient, and committed to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Can work effectively as part of a team
Is flexible, reliable, and proactive
Has previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or is working towards one)
