Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Tamworth – September Start

Zest Education is currently recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a fantastic central nursery in Tamworth from September, continuing through to Christmas 2025, with the possibility of extension. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced early years professional to become part of a supportive, child-centred environment that truly values the development and well-being of its children and staff.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in the daily care and education of young children. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development

  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

  • Maintaining a safe, clean and stimulating environment

  • Observing and recording children’s progress and contributing to developmental reports

You will be working alongside a passionate and experienced team who are committed to continuous professional development and providing a nurturing environment for all children.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a practitioner who is enthusiastic, caring, and confident working in a nursery setting. The successful candidate will have:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)

  • Recent experience working within an early years setting

  • A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A caring and patient nature with a genuine passion for working with children

  • The ability to use initiative and take responsibility within the room

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
