Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – Burton – September Start
Zest Education is delighted to be recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a wonderful nursery setting in Burton starting September, continuing through to Christmas 2025. This vibrant and well-resourced nursery is centrally located in Burton, with great access to public transport and local amenities. The setting prides itself on offering a safe, stimulating and nurturing space where children can learn through play and exploration. The team is highly supportive, working collaboratively to create the best outcomes for all children in their care.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support the day-to-day running of the room and ensure all children feel happy, engaged, and supported. Your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering planned activities that support the EYFS framework
Observing and recording children’s development
Supporting children’s physical, emotional, and educational needs
Working closely with colleagues and parents to support learning and care plans
Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all children
You will work alongside experienced and dedicated early years staff, all committed to creating a positive and enriching experience for every child.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced childcare professional. The successful candidate will:
Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)
Have previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
Possess a sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Be confident in building strong relationships with children and families
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Be passionate about helping children learn and grow in a safe, fun environment

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
