Contract: Until the end of the Autumn term (potential for extension)
Location: Cannock
Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Cannock that is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team from October 2025 until the end of the Autumn term, with the potential for a longer-term role.
This school is known for its strong community spirit, inclusive ethos, and commitment to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment. Staff work collaboratively to create a space where every child is encouraged to thrive both academically and personally.
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support pupils of varying abilities and needs, encouraging progress and confidence
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Collaborate with staff and teaching assistants to ensure continuity and pupil wellbeing
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to education
Flexibility and reliability

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
