Primary Teacher – Swadlincote
Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Until the end of the Autumn term (with potential for extension)
Location: Swadlincote

Zest Education is working closely with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Swadlincote, which is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team from October 2025 through to the end of the Autumn term. There is potential for this role to be extended further into the academic year.

The Role:

As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the national curriculum

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

  • Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their learning goals

  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies

  • Working closely with support staff and colleagues to ensure a smooth learning experience for students

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • A caring, proactive, and resilient approach to teaching

  • The ability to quickly adapt to new settings and build positive relationships with pupils and staff
