Primary Teacher – Swadlincote
Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Until the end of the Autumn term (with potential for extension)
Location: Swadlincote
Zest Education is working closely with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Swadlincote, which is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team from October 2025 through to the end of the Autumn term. There is potential for this role to be extended further into the academic year.
This school is well-regarded for its supportive leadership, welcoming staff, and strong focus on the personal and academic development of its pupils. It offers a vibrant and respectful learning environment, where children are encouraged to reach their full potential.
As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging and effective lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their learning goals
Managing behaviour in line with school policies
Working closely with support staff and colleagues to ensure a smooth learning experience for students
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
Strong classroom management skills
A caring, proactive, and resilient approach to teaching
The ability to quickly adapt to new settings and build positive relationships with pupils and staff

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
