Are you an experienced attendance officer looking for a new challenge? Zest Education is currently recruiting for an outstanding school in Coventry who is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team.
Responsibilities:
– Managing attendance records and ensuring accurate data entry
– General school administration duties including reception, payroll, and other administrative tasks as needed
– Working closely with staff and parents to address attendance concerns and improve overall attendance rates
– Utilizing school management systems to track and monitor attendance trends
Requirements:
– Previous experience in a school setting as an attendance officer, administrator, or similar role
– Strong organisational and communication skills
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
