Zest Education is working closely with a nurturing and well-regarded primary school in Loughborough, who are seeking a passionate and creative EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the foundational stage of children’s learning.
Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
Create a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence
Plan activities that support early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development
Monitor and assess children’s progress through observation and learning journals
Work closely with support staff, parents, and the wider school team to ensure every child thrives
Promote strong safeguarding practices and inclusive values
✅ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE or EYTS)
✅ Experience teaching in an Early Years setting (Nursery or Reception)
✅ Strong knowledge of child-led learning, continuous provision, and EYFS assessment
✅ Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic with a passion for early childhood education
✅ Excellent classroom management and communication skills
✅ Open to both experienced EYFS teachers and confident ECTs

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
