Year 2 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) 
Location: Primary School near Castle Bromwich, West Midlands
Start Date: October 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

Zest education are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join the warm and welcoming primary school community just outside Castle Bromwich. This is a full-time position beginning in October 2025, perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in the classroom.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant in our Year 2 class, you will:

  • Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning

  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions where needed

  • Assist with classroom preparation and day-to-day activities

  • Help create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with KS1 children (ideally in a school setting)

  • Is patient, nurturing, and energetic

  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Is proactive, reliable, and organised

  • Holds a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Key Details:

  • Start Date: October 2025

  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term-time only)

  • Location: Easily accessible from Castle Bromwich and surrounding areas
