Year 2 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

Zest education are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join the warm and welcoming primary school community just outside Castle Bromwich. This is a full-time position beginning in October 2025, perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in the classroom.

As a Teaching Assistant in our Year 2 class, you will:
Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning
Provide 1:1 and small group interventions where needed
Assist with classroom preparation and day-to-day activities
Help create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with KS1 children (ideally in a school setting)
Is patient, nurturing, and energetic
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
Is proactive, reliable, and organised
Holds a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Start Date: October 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
Location: Easily accessible from Castle Bromwich and surrounding areas
